Terms of Service

Welcome to GlimmerGuides ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of https://www.glimmerguides.life (the "Site") and any digital products you purchase from us. By using the Site or completing a purchase, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Digital products and licence

All products sold on the Site are downloadable digital files (PDF guides). On successful payment we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, perpetual licence to download, save, and print the file for your own personal, non-commercial use.

You may not, without our prior written consent:

• resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or redistribute the file or its contents;
• upload the file to public or shared drives, file hosts, or torrent networks;
• incorporate the contents into a paid product, course, membership, or service;
• remove or alter copyright, trademark, or attribution notices;
• use the contents to train machine-learning or AI models.

2. Orders, pricing and payment

Prices are listed in US dollars unless stated otherwise and may change at any time. Applicable sales tax or VAT is calculated at checkout based on your billing location. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. By placing an order you authorise the charge for the total displayed at checkout.

3. Delivery

Delivery is digital and instant. After payment confirmation your downloads appear on the order confirmation page and remain available in your account library at /account/library. We also email a sign-in link so you can access them from any device. If a download link does not work, email us at hello@glimmerguides.life and we will resend.

4. Refunds

Because our products are delivered instantly as digital files, all sales are final. By completing checkout you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose any statutory right of withdrawal where permitted by law (including under EU/UK consumer law). 5. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or that we reasonably believe are involved in fraud, chargeback abuse, or piracy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the Site in violation of any law; (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems; (c) interfere with or disrupt the Site; (d) scrape, harvest, or copy content beyond ordinary browsing; or (e) use the Site to transmit malicious code.

7. Intellectual property

The Site and all content (including PDFs, photography, illustrations, copy, logos, and trademarks) are owned by GlimmerGuides or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited licence in Section 1, no rights are granted.

8. Health, beauty & wellness disclaimer

Our guides are for general educational and informational purposes only. They are not medical, nutritional, psychological, or professional advice and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Always consult a qualified professional before changing your skincare, diet, exercise, or wellness routine. You use the contents at your own risk.

9. Disclaimers

The Site and products are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GlimmerGuides and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of the Site or products. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GlimmerGuides from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site or products.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which GlimmerGuides is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence still apply where required by law.
