Lymphatic Drainage Massage at Home: Reduce Bloat and Puffiness Naturally
A step-by-step lymphatic drainage routine you can do at home in 15 minutes — for a flatter belly, slimmer legs and brighter skin.

Why your lymphatic system needs help
Your lymphatic system has no pump. While your heart pushes blood, lymph relies on muscle movement, breath and gentle external pressure to circulate. Sit at a desk all day, skip exercise or eat salty meals and lymph stagnates — that's where puffiness, dull skin and that 'heavy' feeling come from.
Manual lymphatic drainage is whisper-light. The lymph vessels sit just under the skin, so heavy massage actually closes them. Picture the pressure of moving a coin across a table without lifting it.
The 15-minute home routine
Always work toward your lymph nodes — neck, armpits, groin, behind the knees. Empty those drainage points first so there's somewhere for the rest of the lymph to go.
1. Pump the collarbones for 30 seconds: place fingertips just above each collarbone and press gently downward in a J-motion.
2. Sweep neck downward from ear to collarbone, ten times per side.
3. Pump armpits ten times each.
4. Sweep arms from wrist to armpit, three passes per arm.
5. Belly clock: light circular strokes around the navel, clockwise only, for two minutes.
6. Pump the groin (where leg meets hip) ten times each side.
7. Sweep legs from ankle to groin, three passes per leg.
Add dry brushing for amplified results
Five minutes of dry brushing before your shower stimulates the lymphatic system mechanically. Use long upward strokes on limbs and gentle circles on the belly. Skip broken skin, varicose veins and your face.
